Good point. My purchase this year is a ps4 pro but next year I'm getting a 4k TV and probably psvr.  So by the time I decide to get it I'll know if it's a dying fad or if it's taking off.  And it will probably be cheaper by then too.  If it goes into mass production costs will fall dramatically.
