So i played Knack on launch, i remember waking up on a snowy Thursday afternoon all cheerful, it was November and i wanted to get a PS4 for christmas to play co op games and stuff with my Fiancee at the time. I remember i would be using stock checker every 10 minutes, refreshing. Finally i got one and i was happy!! it came with Knack and i bought another Controller for co-op. So Christmas comes and i set it up and me and my then fiancee jump into what we thought was gonna be a fun game, but.... every time once of you died you had to restart checkpoint. Over and over this happened and we argued all the time coz of it. Shes not very good at games and she kept leaving the side down. Eventually this started affecting everything the more we played, to the point where i wasn't turned on anymore when i looked at her. I found myself pushing her away and venturing into Tubegalore with only the gay and shemale filters turned on. Eventually we split, im not longer interested in females because well... because of Knack. It ruined my life.

Tales games go cheap quicker than Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy l0l

 

Next tales game I will buy will be Symphonia on PC - its gone down to like $5 and will likely get it this christmas sale or maybe next year - no rush.


@OT - How many Tales games ya'll played/beaten :p

 

For myself I've done the following....

 

Tales of Eternia (PSP) - my first tales game I beaten
Tales of Phantasia (PSX)
Tales of Symphonia (GCN)
Tales of Legendia (PS2) - worst tales game I played
Tales of the Abyss (PS2) - favorite one so far

 

I did play the SNES Tales of Phantasia but never got that far.

I havent played too many of them.

Xillia-Finished

Symphonia-Started

Symphonia 2 and Hearts R-Own them, but haven't started playing them yet.

I always get them on PSN sales :P

I thought Sony did great job, I was really happy (Horizon, NieR, NioH, etc.) and then tLoU:P2 came on and blew my mind. 2017 and 2018 will be filled with great games.

I'm so tempted to get Symphonia Chronicles via PSN but I have a feeling Dawn of the New World or w/e the sequel is called will come out on Steam so....its like I CANT DECIDE lol

Besides, I cant imagine playing Symphonia 3 times.....-.-.

 

My luck with Symphonia seems bad too because when I started Symphonia on GCN, I was halfway through the game when they announced Symphonia Chronicles for the PS3 and I was like FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFu :(

Well, I haven't heard too many great things from the sequel, so it might be best to skip :P Ill atleast play it once to see how it is though.
