These sales are an embarassment and bring shame on the uk. It's depressing that my country has such an awful taste in games. Why are these people buying the same game every year albeit with some minor tweaks and the game is named after one of the most corrupt organisations in all of sport.

Your country is the European capital of Soccer. I think even here it's less of a thing, and we deal with La Liga!

Oh, and the content in FIFA is huge and each game requieres a lot of work. Gamers who don't understand the sport or the size of these games won't change that fact

One can say the Wii version were lazy ports (basically only roster updates for at least 4-5 years) but I'm sure they worked real hard on the other systems.

This doesn't even take for account the Xbox One S Bundle (with download code) which had the huge sales boost and digital sales on all consoles and PC, this game is just.... wow, EA is swimming in money haha, quite suprising how much the UK loved this :D

Just want to say that ms official bundle sales don't count with that number they are all digital codes for the game so yeah the digital number will be pretty high for that game.

MS also has EA Access where you get 10% off

PES had this on 2012 I think. They took it off, I guess the fair play campaings is what keeps them from doing stuff like that again

Imagine if they did it with JRPGs...

A new FF every year? Count me in!

If being a nerd means staying clear of trash like FIFA and playing actual good games then sign me up to the nerd club.

I beg to differ. I don't buy the FIFA games every year(the last one I have is 15) but the games are really fun to play and ultamate team adds a lot of more replayability to the game. This year even added a new story mode which is a huge change and I've heard nothing but good things about it. Because you don't enjoy a series or game doesn't(sarcasm) make it trash.

The amount of work that goes into a yearly Fifa and 2K is more than your run of the mill JRPG.
EA has at least 2 teams working on this franchise. The game modes are varied and well catered to football fans.
It could be better but its no way a mediocre game some you are passing it to be.

Shh people don't like the series so let them hate.(sarcasm)

Because I don't like a series doesn't make me a nerd either, which is what I was responding to.

I don't know whether it's a Pavlov's dog situation and ea have manufactured me into a perfect customer, but every year I never think oh no I have to buy FIFA again I'm always excited.

I think FF 7-10 were every year, or close enough. And those are some of the best games in the franchise, so yeah... count me in too!

This is what I want to see happend.

Get 5 teams started on each their own ff game, and just start pumping out yearly Final Fantasy games.

They need to drop the idea of action-rpg + huge open world..... FFXV took way to damn long to make.
