Good lord, I settle down for dinner only to find out that the match I wanted to see the most is already over. Aries and Neville on the pre-pre-show?
I watched the whole show last year and was ready to cry tears of blood by the end. Ain't doing that this year. Going to pick and choose what I watch.

That was an entertaining match. Serious props to The Revival and DIY for making AoP look like monsters. I was also impressed with AoP for hanging with experienced and talented vets.
DIY might be my favorite thing in the WWE right now.

While I'm not actually mad at the event, this was the worst Wrestlemania I've ever watched. Something's wrong when Styles and Shane are out wrestling the roster. Kudos to Shane for learning how to wrestle for the event. Everything else was expected and bad.

You don't believe that.
Awesome 'Mania. Loved almost every moment except for the weird Orton vs Wyatt match. So much build for so little payoff. My wrestling group was marking out!
It is funny how much diferent things are from one person to another.
This was one of my favorite WrestleMania's. Shane and AJ had a great opening match, and pretty much stayed great throughout the show. The surprise return in the Tag match was still great even if it was pretty much a sure thing for those that follow closely. I liked how they did Brock and Goldberg, even if I think from a character and future building stance Goldberg should have won. The only disappointment was the main event. I think the after match was great, but it really sucked seeing so many botches in Takers final match. Reigns is just not the guy that should have done this, but it wouldn't have happened if Taker didn't want it to be him, so as long as he is happy.
I also think it was great that Stone Cold, The Rock, and any other distractions stayed away. It was great that they really let The Dead Man have his moment. I do hope to see them back in some capacity in the future though.

Overall, very great show. Loved it a lot. In my view: Better than 30. Better than 31. MUCH better than 32.
AJ Styles vs. Shane McMahon - Excellent opening match. Shane over delivered here and... do I even have to say what A.J. is?
9/10 - This would've been my match of the night had it not been for...
Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho - The chemistry was great. The storytelling was excellent. Some very memorable spots too: (Jericho slapping on the Walls barely a minute into the match. Owens putting the Walls on Chris himself. Chris countering the Pop Up Powerbomb into the Codebreaker.) Awesome match. Best one on the card for me. 9.5/10
Bayley vs. Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax - It was a solid match that could've been much better. The biggest positive of this match was that Nia looked like a total monster. Even though she was the first one out, you could not book a person better than they did here. Great stuff. Then it went downhill after that. The eliminations of Sasha and Charlotte happened too quick: Just when they were each getting going. Overall, the match was too short for a Fatal 4 Way and it shouldn't have been a 4 Way to begin with. I still maintain that the RAW Women's Title match should've been: One on One: Bayley and Sasha. I thought for sure that Sasha was turning heel tonight and stealing the title from Bayley, but I guess not. 8/10
Fatal 4 Way Tag Team Ladder Match- HOLY SHIT! THE HARDYS ARE BACK!!!!!!! And that's about it. This was a case where the Moment was bigger than the Match itself. It was still a good match overall, though. Now, I'm just wondering what the deal is with the Broken gimmick. 8.5/10
John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. Miz and Maryse - I knew going in that the build up was going to be much greater than the match, given the people involved. No disrespect to any of the 4 people in the ring, but Maryse hadn't wrestled in years, Nikki isn't that good to begin with, and the last time Cena and Miz faced each other at WrestleMania, it was the worst Main Event in the show's history. And honestly, the predictable outcome hurt this match too. We all knew Cena and Nikki were going over, as much as we didn't want to. Good for Nikki to get her moment like that, but now we must have a moment of silence for Miz and Maryse......... 7/10
Seth Rollins vs. Triple H - I thought this match took a little too long and the pacing was a little slow for my liking. It picked up towards the end, the storytelling was great, and seeing Stephanie go through a table was oh so deliciously satisfying! Thank God that Rollins evaded the Shovel and went over. Now, the fallout will be interesting to see. 8.9/10
Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt - That was it?! Your WWE Championship match, with your Royal Rumble winner, with a deep story behind it... And 10 minutes is all you've got?! This is what happens when you try to cram everybody on the card instead of sticking to big and important storylines. It was at this point where the show started going downhill. The match itself was forgettable, and I feel so bad for Bray. 6.5/10
Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg - This is what their first match at WrestleMania XX should've been! Short, straight to the point, with both guys beating the piss out of each other! Excellent stuff! 9/10
Six pack Women's Championship match - Incredibly disappointing. Once again, a victim of constrained time and trying to cram everyone on the card. Happy for Naomi, but it didn't feel as special as it should have. 6/10
Roman Reigns vs. The Undertaker - This... was incredibly sad to watch. The match itself was sloppy. It was clear that Taker didn't have anymore and he was no longer The Phenom we all knew and loved. Just heartbreaking to witness. But, the post match fallout... something that will be remembered forever and wrestling fans will remember exactly where they were when it happened... I'm gonna miss him a lot. Thank you, Undertaker. Thank you, for everything.
Actual match - 6.5/10. Post match - ...I'm sorry, I'm too emotional right now to give it a grade.
Overall, 8.5/10

Of course I do. The matches were terrible for the most part. The ladder mstch was good, but everything else was predictable.
Raw's women match was a predictable monster spot fest. It was good, but 4 ways generally are.
Kevin vs Owens was good
Tag Match was fantastic
Cena vs Miz was terrible. Poor Miz had to waste so much time. I went to the toilet when John started talking after the match cause I couldn't care less
Seth vs HHH should have went on last. Probably the only time a HHH match I'd say that for
Orton vs Bray was bad. I expect more from them
Lesnar vs Goldberg was okay, if only for the barricade spot
The Smackdown women's match was also very generic. 4 ways can worlk more than that and it becomes a mess. The crowd was dead when Naomi won.
Taker vs Reigns was okay, but muting the crowd was a terrible decision. Made the match awkward, and a fucking terrible end to the Taker. The one guy who should have had a proper ending with a proper build instead Taker's retirement is to an average performer fighting over a "yard". Sounds like two children fighting in a play area "You can't be in here my mom said so."
The show had good matches, the featured matches were borderline terrible.
Wrestlemania this year was an odd animal.
If it was a roller-coaster, like they wanted us to think by repeating "thrill-ride" constantly, then it was one that started high and just kept dropping lower.
AJ vs. Shane was a spot-fest but overall it wasn't bad. I mean, yeah, if you take out Shane's big spots, it was slow and clunky, but throwing in the submissions for Shane really added some spice and AJ sold surprise really well. The match worked a lot better than it should have given that Shane looked gassed by the half-way point.
The tag match was a lot of fun and, obviously, had the moment of the night. It really should have been last because no one was topping that.
What else?
Did not care about Cena vs. Miz whatsoever because it was just a vehicle to have Cena propose on TV. Complete waste of the momentum the Miz was building. Did not care about Lesnar vs Goldberg, though Goldberg hit some vicious spears that make Roman's spears look silly. I wish they'd both go away, to be honest. And does Lesnar have the worst German suplex in all of wrestling?
HHH vs. Rollins was fine. A slow, methodical Triple-H beating is what he does now.
The show should have ended there.
Actually, what should have happened is for Wyatt to get the rub by beating the Undertaker. Would have made all the sense in the world as a real passing of the torch from one brand of evil to another. Instead, he goes out to one of the least popular top babyfaces in WWE history. Eh.
Tthe WWE's formula for getting a face over seems to be "have them kick out of everything". Is that really supposed to make the audience root for them? It's literally stacking the odds heavily in favor of the good guy when you know they're virtually unpinnable.
Anyway, the RAW after Wrestlemania is almost always better than Wrestlemania. Hope that continues and that Smackdown follows that tradition.
