Unfortunatley, to build up someone, someone else usually has to lose. Street Profits will be fine if they lose. For Bobby Lashley, I think unfortunately the moment has kind of passed for him to become a mega star.

Tony Khan needs to stop trying to Hinder Jinder XD.

Well I mean I have a feeling Lashley's team will win (because insider reports say that they are internally seen as a face team) when they really dont need to

I feel like they probably wouldn't bring the Authors of Pain back just to have them lose so quickly. I feel like, or at least hope, the bloodline saga is coming to an end at Wrestlemania with Roman losing. Hopefully to Cody and not the Rock. So, they'll need heels for him to feud with in the immediate aftermath.

Might have to go to YouTube for this one, but fairly good for a scripted promo (had to be scripted, that was too intricately plotted out).

My wild shot prediction, Cody Rhodes wins, but doesn't get to pick his opponent. CM Punk gets the belt from Rollins soon after the Rumble, and when Cody has his chance to pick, he goes for Punk. There's about a 2.5% chance of that occurring :D

If these two meet at Wrestlemania, a triple threat with Roman Reigns is probably more likely. The pieces are already easily there for that to unfold. Someone else will take the belt off of Rollins. A Wrestlemania match I always thought was underrated was the Triple Thread IC/EU title match at 2000 between Jericho, Angle, and Chris "Bin-oyte" (Jericho was calling him that at the time). The Triple threat between HHH, Michaels, and Benoit was also a great one (separating my pre-2007 feelings from my post).

Haven't seen the promo, but I don't like the idea of Punk vs Rhodes at Wrestlemania. I still feel like anything besides Reigns vs Rhodes is a little bit of blueballing the audience. And, I think there are plenty of good matches that you can do for Rollins' title but I don't think there's a lot of great matches for Reigns. It's either Reigns vs Rhodes or Reigns vs Rock, and I'm hopeful it's not the latter.

If they're going to do a triple threat, I think they should do Rock/Rhodes/Reigns. That gets you the star power on the card, without missing the boat for Rhodes. And then you can pivot to a Rock/Reigns one on one match if the Rock is willing to do more than one.

Great ric flair comp

WWE RAW going to Netflix in 2025.

The Rock joins the Board of Directors for WWE and UFC parent company TKO.

I didn't see Netflix as the home of Raw, but it kind of makes sense. Netflix is kind of behind in terms of streaming live events, which is where some of the other streaming platforms have been using to grab a foothold. I imagine the idea is to get the PLEs on Netflix once the Peacock deal expires. Probably a good move in the long run, particularly if they keep Smackdown on cable to maintain some linear TV presence.

New round of allegations against Vince McMahon and... wow... if even a fraction of it is true, Vince, and some others, should be in prison. Pretty sure the girl involved would still be able to file criminal chargers, and hope she does if it's true. This goes way beyond sketchy behavior into human trafficking and rape territory. Apparently Brock's also involved. All allegations at this point of course so we'll see what comes out... but it's sounding bad. Like, I dunno if I can support this company in any way going forward bad.

Damn, crazy how far The Rock had come.

From football player to WWE Wrestler to movie star to a producer to his own business and now joining the board of directors to WWE lol

Also WWE coming to Netflix is nice, I can watch the show on Netflix but there's gonna be a price hike (and I hope PLEs are involved at least).

If you're in the US no. For now it's just Raw. I imagine that will change when Peacocks deal expires. In most international territories the PLEs will be on Netflix.

Man, I am excited about the Royal Rumble this weekend.

*ignores the Vince stuff*
