Consoles will not be as powerful as PCs. Not unless Sony starts making its own GPUs to give itself a price cut. I'm saying that PCs right now won't stack up to PlayStation ten years from now, and that it is very likely that the new Titan X wouldn't stand up to it.

Yeah I generally wait to read about news in threads on here really, can't be bothered scanning over all the internet for little bits of info here and there when this site has some fantastic people who seek out the best of it and bring it back to us here.

This game looks pretty sweet and the 1080p x 4 in the split screen mode is very very impressive from the ps4pro. Nice treat for those who upgrade or jump in at the pro level, not sure would this make me upgrade myself but it's cool that it exists.

We are on the same page - and I don't agree. A PlayStation 10 years down the line, at best, will match a Pascal Titan X. At best. A lot more goes into that card than you seem to understand. 

I understand what goes into it. I also understand that ten years in technology is a long, long time.

Now your making up things again where did i say i own a PS4?, if i did still own a PS4 do you really think id be buying a PS4Pro . i said i have "friends" who own a PS4, i also have friends who own an XB1 and well not many of my friends own a WiiU . But anyway what are you saying? that me as a PC Gamer cant have friends who own a PS4 or an XB1 or a WiiU?. Or are you trying to say that the isnt people who own a console such as a PS4 or an XB1 and only play Fifa or CoD and each new release of them games are all they play?.

Obviously it's possible they play nothing but fifa but if you're on ps4, chances are you'd actually see they do play other games too. Their trophy list would either.  I just feel you're over exaggerating to make your point and without being on psn it's hard to say it's all they play.

If you truly get what the GPU is doing/capable of (not what you heard/read), you'd know that it's not as simple as you suggest, regardless of the ten years involved.

Thing is, after 8K, there really isn't much room for improvement. Consoles will then use other traits to sell or die off...
