I'd say it's more like a pudding with crust! Like what is Flan?

I voted as other, but it's probably more of a pie. Plus it doesn't pass the cake test - if it doesn't taste better with ice cream than it's not cake! (But oh noes, Apple pie is now a cake!)

I'd say it something else. I remember the first time I had it, was kinda sweet and sower, but my friends were all going crazy.

I only like strawberry cheesecake. I can eat regular but just not that much. I consider it a cake.

There is apple cake in germany. It doesn't have the top crust but the side and bottom ones (much like cheesecake) but since the apples get baked with the crust it qualifies ad a cake.

not all cheesecakes are baked in the oven.

Also it tastes nothing like a pie in Australia so I can't even group it into the same category.
