How can the XB1 Battlefield bundle be ahead of the UC4 bundle and Fool's edition? It hasn't once been in front of them for the whole of the month.

That is what I said about the stand-alone bundle before, it could be because of the refurbished and used units.

It is not the first this has happened.

There aren't any refurbished XB1s with the Battlefield bundle, but you are right, it's not the first time this has happened.

The PS5 Exists.

Remember when people said XB1 tracking might be wonky? :)

Might be an hourly only problem. I think it was last month where Vita charted in the monthly despite not even appearing in the hourly's.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

That's just for Week 3, so basically that covers sales for this past Monday and Tuesday.

Ah, that would explain it.

The weekly can seem wonky oftentimes as well. I guess they're all wonky sometimes :) I do remember the Battlefield 1 TB being ahead of a couple of the ps4's in the hourlies at the beginning of the week, though.

EDIT: I went back and looked at some of the old posts, and the 1tb was indeed ahead of the fool's and og Uncharted bundle at the beginning of the week, and was briefly ahead of all 3 of them. Maybe it's at #50 because some items that were ahead of it ended up falliing way back to the end of the pack. Either way, it seems fairly close at the moment.

I'm still expecting the X1 to sell more units in October because of stock at other retailers and Pro ps4 cannibalism, however.

Yeah I think we've perhaps underestimated the effect of the Pro, because of its cheap price, I think MS will win again and November/December will be where its at for Sony. It wouldnt surprise me if the Pro actually starts to sell more than the slim PS4 overall.

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

CoD is just 13 days away, where the fuck is the bunduru Sony?

I don't think there is one, for some odd reason. The Target ad for that week is already out, and there are already rumors that the Black Friday bundle is just going to be a cheaper Uncharted 4 slim.

SCEA can be awfully strange, sometimes, though I thought they did wonderfully last year. Why does Europe, a land where, in most countries, Sony could write "PS4" on a paper bag and still outsell its competitors, have loads of bundles, while the US, which is one of the few places where they can actually lose ground and would benefit from numerous bundles, receives so few?

Here's today's update to the October rankings:

PS VR launch bundle: #13 (↓1)
PS VR: #27 (↑2)
PS4 Pro: #34* (—)
PS4 Slim Uncharted 4 bundle: #53 (↑2)
PS4 standalone: #55 (↓3)
PS4 Uncharted 4 LE bundle: #59 (—)
XBO S 2TB Gears 4 LE bundle: #62 (↓2)
New 3DS XL (Galaxy): #79 (↓1)
XBO S 1TB Madden bundle: #82 (↑1)

And here's the initial rankings for Week 2 of October:

PS VR: #15
PS4 Pro: #29*
PS VR launch bundle: #30
PS4 Slim Uncharted 4 bundle: #47
XBO S 1TB Battlefield 1 bundle: #50
PS4 Uncharted 4 LE bundle: #57
PS4 standalone: #60
XBO S 1TB Madden bundle: #79

Since there was no update yesterday, this update should represent two days worth of ranking shifts. Yesterday should have been the actual initial rankings for Week 3.

How can the XB1 Battlefield bundle be ahead of the UC4 bundle and Fool's edition? It hasn't once been in front of them for the whole of the month.

That is the same think that the Vita did a few months ago.

What the fuck, Wii U is the best selling console right now on Amazon Italy...
