To me this article is extremely worrying. The clarification of all those questions bring clearly negative information, except the one for story line, the story line seems deep and interesting enough.

Under "not really being an RPG" they list a bunch of stuff that suggests it's very shallow as an RPG and under "game will be too challenging" (what the hell, the worry should be that the game will turn out being too easy! What kind of journalist is this person?) it sounds like the game will have Assassin's Creed level of difficulty, and not offer choices of difficult levels, but instead be dumbed down to the lowest common denominator, to gamers who don't have a clue.

About variety it talks about three upgrade tiers. But the new Tomb Raider games also have three upgrade tiers, and it's the most shallow character development system I've seen in a long time.

With this article it went from a possibly 85% Metacritic to under 80%. Far Cry Primal with better graphics. That's not necessarily bad, the problem is that you needed a Slimebeast to decipher all this because the journalists aren't doing their jobs.

mayeb its just a coincidence, but i see u on almost eveey horizon thread being dismissive and pessimistic but nothing you say really makes any sense.

it's like you are taking all the positive impressions this game has garnered from everyone that has played it, dismissed it and just thrown accusations around for no apparent reason.

And about that teirs thing? if you know anything about gaming then you will know that it's not about how much variety isin the tier selection, but that those that are there are good and have depth.

You see a game like GoW? There is only one tier there.... there is no stealth, there is no crafting....etc. And that is all hat matters. That each tier has depth. Cause if it's has depth you wouldn't need to stray from it throughout your play through. this more = better mentality needs to just die.

Yes, it's coincidence. I've been in maybe three threads in total that contained something about Horizon (but not all were specifically about Horizon). You probably see it because you have your sensitive glasses on.

And "nothing you say really makes any sense" is an unfair claim when I'm actually very specific in my post above. Meanwhile you don't bring much of substance to argue my points.

"More is better" is not my claim. Please read better. I bet my comparisons to Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider and Far Cry: Primal (they're not randomly picked) went past you because you haven't really reflected on these specific issues, but you feel a strong urge to defend this game.

It' supposed to write 5 things that i m excited about Horizon Zero Dawn
1)We don't know much of the story 6 months before release so that means the story is ritch and importand
2)is not RPG is Action RPG like every game
3) Will have so much things to do! in every gameplay, we have see something new and we wait the fight with people and the caves
4)It Will Be Too Challenging! take that lazy gamers and noobs
5)No co op!! you multiplayer b@#$s

If you payed for advertising games do it right :) don't confuse the people who read you

I am not even "defending" the game. Nor am I being "sensitive".

Just pointing out that these things you seem to say about the game are baseless being that everything else everyone (read people that have actually played the game) has said about it seem to be nothing but good and have not much in common to what you are saying, you are drawing your conclusions simply cause it has some things in common to them? (these days which games don't have something in common to some other game)

Anyways, not going to get into it; I don't usually say anything about what people say or think about games, I just find it strange that you seem to see so much wrong in a game that you haven't played, has so far gotten nothing but positive impressions........ ah well, this is exactly why I don't talk about games; it's a mostly subjective affair.

Well, the game will be good enough

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

please guys lowered the expectation for this game, this is not Breath Of The Wild with guaranteed over 90 critics score this is by guerilla games

Makes me think of South Park episode where Jimmy can distinguish between an ad and an article.

This looks to be a paid ad, just as most all "previews" are. Always 10000% positive info and the game is amazing and you should buy, ect.

But all these questions, reminds me of the very same questions I had about No Man's Sky. Let's hope these developers aren't as big of liars.

That^^
This is definitely a pay ad. not sure why you re-post that here.

I can see only very good comments or hype around this game.

Hence, I have only 2 games on my Play Station Four as I am mainly playing on my Xbox One and PC but this game is definitely going to be third one :) I'm really looking forward for it.

Browsing through a Sony Exclusive game's thread is like wading through slowly setting cement.

The PS5 Exists.

The game is going to be epic! :D

I really never had such 'fears' . Most of that just confirms what i already anticipated. Can't wait.
