Well I really hope David Wise can do the soundtrack if Nintendo decides to make another DKC.

A trypical Rare game to me is a platformer with good graphics and music and a lot of humor in it. Or Goldeneye. Anything they did outside of those were just mediocre games. A company should stick to what they are good at. Killer Instinct was also good my bad.

So you did not like Viva Pinata.  I happen to think both games were really strong games and totally different from their previous work.  Either way, I always believe no developer should be held to just do one thing because their audience believe it to be so.  Would Godeneye or Perfect dark have been made if Rare only stuck to platformers.

Viva Pinata didn't interest me at all. And no they should do other things but all they have been doing since Conker their greatest game ever is different things. And everything was mediocre maybe some were good but none were really memorable.

Let's wait and see how Yooka Laylee turns out. If its a return to form, Nintendo should just buy them.

Rare itself is a has-been studio not worth buying back.

What I am saying is not that a game interest you which is more a personal opinion than anything else.  I am talking about quality.  The games in the series reviewed high and were very high quality games.  When people say a studio produced crap because they were not interested in the games then it's way to slanted toward bias and not fact.  Also memorable is also subjective.  I played both Viva games and they were memorable to me because they played and executed unlike any game on the market and they were highly polished quality games.

Rare consistently makes high quality games, whether that be Kinect games, Viva Pinata, or Sea of Thieves. They are fine where they are.
