F-Zero takes it for me; GX is still the best racing game I've ever played.

I like my racers over the top, arcadey, and unbound by the limits of realism.

Because it really is just the best racing simulation for me.

Aside from MK, I really like Gran Turismo and I'm really fond of the old Need for Speed games (pre-Underground), i didn't like when they started with the open world thing, I preferred when the games had closed circuits.

If GT7 is anything less than great Forza will easily take it

I like GT series but also envy Forza as they got lots of newer cars. GT though has more unique cars.
