GT5 will smash both, remember not everyone is buying GT5 P since its just a prolauge not the real thing.

I think MK will have a smaller opening week. Lifetime sales are kind of pointless as next year the proper version as opposed to a glorified demo comes out.

Mario Kart wii will have better legs than both GT5 , and Gt5p imo. This game is targeted to both casual , and hardcore, and is on larger userbase.

 I have to disagree. MK Wii will sell more than GT5. Mario kart has always had a better attach rate than GT series and as such MK will sell more.

MK wii will easily beat the GT5p opening week in my opinion, but GT5 should be able to top that in a year

It would beat a Mario Kart Wii: Prologue. But Mario Kart? Come on now...

Im gunna have to say GT5P. You know what the funny thing is, were thinking this game could sell more then 5 million in its lifetime (I think around 8) and its just a demo.

Anyways if Mario Galaxy can barley break 200,000 in its first week then how can Mario Kart even come close to 1 million. Plus for GT5P the games not even out and its sold over 1 million.

It hasn't sold 1 million to customers, those were retail orders. 1 million in retail pre-orders is still very good, but don't go expecting those numbers first week.
