And Mkwii is also coming to Japan and Europe so Nintendo may be kicking up the consoles for Eu again and for Japan again! But, they won't be able to kick it up in America again like last week leo, so I agree with you on that point!

Actually it seems there is a possibility it can outsell the wii in north america. According to its trend it usually dips when it hits a very high number. Any how these are my expectations:

Therefore I expect both consoles to be about the same in World wide sales, but if the GT5P bundle increases momentum and manages to sell beyond what I expect, the PS3 has a chance to outsell the wii beyond the margin of error, although North america may be something to reconsider.

Wii is not supply constrained in most regions in OTHERS though. Atleast according to retailers(from nj5)

And people, don't forget 2 more factors that will hold back Wii sales from Max power, Holidays and Korea + China launch!

pS TrIple for 2 weeks only because of gt5p, then wii will zoom by the ps3 in weekly sales again

leo, don't forget, mkwii is arriving in Japan in less than 2 weeks. There's no doubt in my mind that Nintendo will be beefing up hardware there. Maybe back to the 75k range this week. Wii may also be higher in America. We all know Nintendo will increase shipments this year.

i think ps3 will win, the marketing for gt5p have been massive

I think wii will sell more, just because this weeks includes a little bump because of PES2008
