Forums - Microsoft - IGN: ReCore Review

The Verdict

I didn’t expect ReCore to be quite as big as it is, and from the looks of things, it’s possible its developers didn’t either. Its world, while interesting to explore for a good while, is ultimately too big with too little happening in it to be a totally serviceable housing for the strong combat and platforming gameplay within. It feels like a great, arcadey action platformer spread across too big a canvas, and it asks you to draw back over the same lines a few too many times

So the PC version is more optimized than the console version? There's something you don't see everyday.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Still looking forward to firing the PC version up after work tonight. I had it downloading before I left this morning.

Is not a terrible review, looks like the game is ok once you get rid of the technical problems, however everyone seems to agree that the last part is really repetitive which is a bummer.

Been playing for about an hour. So far, so good.

7.3

Wii U NNID:  CWegzz
3DS Friend Code:  4210-5277-5484

I've seen a few reviews and it looks like a cool game with technical issues.

Maybe patches will help or we will get a better build on Scorpio.

It's nothing mind blowing. Looks decent. Not incredible but definitely not bad.

Gameplay is tight and platforming is decent.

 Haven't really encountered the long load times yet but I also haven't died yet.

Combat is super simple so far.

Frame rate issues are noticeable. I'm transferring it from my external HDD to my internal to see if it helps performance in any way.

I don't regret the purchase, yet.

My power just went out due to a storm. Grrrrrrr.....
