PC! It's just so goddamn expensive xD

What kind of setup are you going for exactly?.

OT: Damn SSD is nearly full so I'll be needing a new one, same with the HDD since I've nearly taken up my 2tb one. Fine for external storage. Actually wouldn't mind a new ram kit as well. New GPU and the rest of the build won't come until next year, maybe by the end of next would be best since I've got holidays to save for.

1070 with an intel i7/i5 (I know I only need an i5 for gaming, but I plan on doing som recording, and I want my CPU to last at least 5 years because upgrading your CPU can be a bit of a hassle because you risk having to change your motherboard as well.) and 16 Gb of DDR4 RAM. Fractal Design Define R5 case. Don't have the specifics nailed down, but I'm fairly certain about the things I listed. And also, since this will be my first gaming PC, I have to buy stuff like the OS, a monitor and a keyboard (already have a mouse).

EDIT: Oh ya and a 240-256 GB SSD for the OS and important programs and games, and a 1-2 TB HDD for other stuff.

I won't be buying any hardware this holiday season. My next hardware purchase will be NX next year (though I'm not sure if at launch)

1) PS4P
2) New PC

Luckily, I am content with everything else... even a small 23" monitor to go with that PS4P is perfectly fine :3

Nothing this year. Already have a PS4 and XOne. No need for upgrades. I'll probably buy an NX next year and then future Nintendo hardware based on what NX is exactly. I think moving forward I'm done with PlayStation and Xbox. First-party games are regressing. Third-party games are regressing. Maybe I'll get a PS5 (or whatever it's called) on the cheap so I can play the latest games from Insomniac, From Software, etc. I think it's time for me to start choosing which games I play more wisely - and that means investing in hardware that will provide the highest return on investment.

Don't forget to add a 2-3TB drive to use for backups. HDD's fail randomly and without warning.

-I'm getting a 43" Sony 4k HDR TV to replace my 32" Samsung 1080p LED
-Already paid for PSVR and PS4P
-Definitely getting the platinum headset
-Probably getting the new PS4 camera to help with the VR
-maybe even get a vertical stand for my new pro
-gotta list my PS4 on ebay immediately after transferring to the Pro

I'm looking for a Sony 4k TV with HDR right around that size. Can you tell me the model number?

Sounds like a good choice for a first build. My one next year will hopefully be sporting an i7 since I'm wanting to record and edit footage myself (Streaming won't be often since my upload sucks). DDR4 I'm not so keen on since it's only giving that bit more perf rather than a bigger gap like it was between DDR2 to 3 (options will still be there though). Probably going to keep my PSU since it's more than enough as well as my Corsair Vengeance C70 and SSD. The new build will basically consist of a new mobo, CPU, GPU while being paired with a new SSD and HDD, possibly DDR4, though I might just stick with DDR 3 16gb kit.

Gaming wise I'd probably go for the Western Digital Black series 2TB. So far it's served me well with it's space and performance.

Almost forgot to add that I might go for a Geforce G-sync monitor at some point, though that's entirely dependent on the models and their price ranges next year.

I'm buying the PS4Pro first this year, next year i'm gonna save up for the smallest 4k TV I can get so I don't have to replace my wall mount (I have always used a 32" TV before).
