Those are actually very small leaks for console that will be launched in 6 months, compare that with leaks with WiiU/PS4/XB1/PS4Pro and you will see that NX NDA is very tight. Nobady cant oficaly coment NX yet, NDA is very very strong (like I wrote, all sources saying much stronger NDA than anuthing before), even we know just one Nintendo game for sure for NX.

If that makes sense offcourse I belive, and few fact: Nintendo last year said "we don't want to reveal too soon because of competition", also Nintendo several times confirmed March like release date, if they are not ready or there is possibility for delay they would never confirmed every time they talked about NX March like release date. With all that totally make sense to reveal console at end of September or early October and launched around 6 months later. Offcoruse they have product ready to reveile it, they launching in 6 monts. :)

I'd disagree the NDAs are any more strict than they've ever been, and just say its been far closer to the release of the console than it's ever been and we can see the repercussions of it as well. More information has been leaked, and more games have been announced than ever before when looking at official reveals. Nintendo used to be in control of the information flow a LOT better, and if someone happened to leak pretty much exactly what NX will be (looking at you Eurogamer) it will also be the first time ever.

You realise that we dont have anuthing for sure expect that Zelda BotW is also NX title!? And yes, NDAs are more strict than ever before, usualy 6-12 monts before launch we already have tons of infos from devolpers about games and platform detailes (just look at Wii U 6 monts before launch), now we dont have almost anuthing expect concept. Just look any mentione from devolpers from NIntendo or 3rd party, zero infos are given, and we are around 6 monts from launch. You can disagree, but fact are that NDAs about NX are much stronger than ever before.

Well they're saying a Direct will be announced today, it's still like 4 AM in Japan. I guess we could know in a few hours as it gets closer to 9-11 AM in Japan.

Eh, Who's saying that and where?

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

We actually probably know MORE about the NX than we ever did Wii or Wii U before launch.

LoZ BOTW is said to have roughly the same graphics on both consoles.

Reggie stated NX is NOT looking to have super powerful tech

Iwata (RIP) stated $250 was the price point for which he believes Nintendo sells and were aiming for that.

We know it will use cartridges.

We know they planned (or at least lied to investors) that the console will release March 2017.

Tell mebwhat other console we knew as much about before a official reveal ever.

Sources?

It was an interview with miyamoto, not iwata, but the point remains the same.

The game designer/creator went on to say that the price of the Wii U did not work in its favor, "Unfortunately with our latest system, the Wii U, the price point was one that ended up getting a little higher than we wanted." Nintendo is striving to "create a system that is both unique and affordable," something that could possibly be achieved with their next console."

Wii U was priced at $300 and $350 respectively.

"Phillips at Eurogamer that the Nintendo NX version ofThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be the same experience but will feature improved visuals."

Essentially, no major differences.

NX could be $299 and it would still be cheaper than the Wii U .... the Wii U was "really" $350, no one bought the gimped 8GB version, even Nintendo also said that.

Also a Wii at $250 in 2006 with inflation would be $298.42 in 2016 dollars. So basically what was $250, is now $300.

Will edit in a min with the Zelda info

So...they didn't say that.  They just said Wii U was higher than they wanted and they want NX to be affordable.  You made the $250 part up. They could be targeting $200 or $400 with NX. Either one could be "affordable", depending on what it is.

How did you come up with that? I think you're refering to something being a value, not something that's affordable.

Not at all.  The fact remains $250 has not been mentioned in any way, ever, by Nintendo.

Nintendo: The only difference between Wii U and NX Zelda will be better graphics.

You: Zelda on NX won't have better graphics.

Seriously, do you have a reading comprehension problem?

Scorpio and PS4 Pro aren't "next gen" machines. They're upgrades to PS4 and Xbox One. PS4 Pro has the word "PS4" in it for crying out loud. NX is a brand new machine so, what you said doesn't make any sense.

I suspect Nintendo is keeping this all close to the vest because they're tinkering with just the right PR. It probably has nothing to do with hardware.

Lol, uh, might want to look up when the PS4 and XBO were announced and when they were released. Here's a hint, it was all in the same year.

I thought you were referring to something else. My apologies.
