It was an interview with miyamoto, not iwata, but the point remains the same.
The game designer/creator went on to say that the price of the Wii U did not work in its favor, "Unfortunately with our latest system, the Wii U, the price point was one that ended up getting a little higher than we wanted." Nintendo is striving to "create a system that is both unique and affordable," something that could possibly be achieved with their next console."
Wii U was priced at $300 and $350 respectively.
Will edit in a min with the Zelda info

So...they didn't say that. They just said Wii U was higher than they wanted and they want NX to be affordable. You made the $250 part up. They could be targeting $200 or $400 with NX. Either one could be "affordable", depending on what it is.

How did you come up with that? I think you're refering to something being a value, not something that's affordable.
