I believe, but since solid rumors said it will be a handheld that can be plugged to the tv I really don´t care about it anymore.
I´d rather play botw on wii U and be done with it.

Zelda is only 2017.

My guess is that the game will be launched during the launch window of the console. If they expected to launch it at the same time as NX, Nintendo would have told that by now; later than that is delaying the game too much and doesn't really fit with the small vídeos Nintendo has been releasing (as someone mentioned before).

It'll launch with the platform Nintendo wants that early momentum and it allows ground up NX titles a bit more room in their development.

I expect a March release. Nintendo wants the Wii U version and NX version to launch simultaneously I would imagine. And they have to have a killer app to push the NX. So it is ideal that they target March for their own sake, and the sake of the consumers who anticipate to buy their products. I'm sure we'll get exact release dates once Nintendo officially announces NX.

Nintendo stated March 2017 for NX. I guess you could read into the "2017" line for Zelda and assume it will be sometime after launch, but NX is still pretty clearly March.

If Breath of the Wild is delayed again, even if it comes to Wii U, I am buying it used, if it all.

I am so sick of Nintendo fucking us around and holding out on us.
