Good job ioi, this will work.

BTW, thanks for banning that guy for me earlier.

What counts as a porn sig? I've seen lots of avatars and sigs that I would count as porn but no comments have ever been made about them. I personally didn't have any problem with them, but I still consider them porn.

Very good move ioi. I've often wondered why someone was banned. This is an excellent idea.

question are bans based on IP's or user name password???????
if IP's then they couldnt just make another account!

how many people have more then one IP maybe work related, or using a laptop at a public IP starbucks! then if was a public Ip that got banned if some one good tried to use it they would be out!

I think there needs to be a new way bans are given, if someone says something bad about a game in which they played and found something not up to par they should be allowed to say it without the fear of being banned.

Many things are also held against posters for what they have said on the site over 6months ago and that leads to current bans given against that member today. Stuff like that needs to change, becasue i may say something next week that will lead to me being banned 3months from now. Even if other members post the exact same thing in another thread

Anyone here is able to point out perceived shortcomings of any game. The problem is a lot of people can't do it maturely or intelligently.

If someone digs a ditch for themselves, it's up to them to get themselves out of that ditch. If we all try to behave we won't have to worry about a minor slip-up/incident leading to a ban. If we have a history of poor posts, of course it can come back to bite us in the rear; the reason being that it's just a continuation of poor posting habits.

"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."

Out of curiosity ioi, do your mod's have the ability to suspend posting priviliges? I am a mod on another site and we have said ability and it is a great alternative to temp-banning/suspending for first-time offenders or those who continue to break the more minor rules.

People could make a new account from anywhere if they were banned. How about accountability for moderators? Consider a system where new moderators are voted in by a democratic system amongst all members.

Mods probably dont have real jobs no insult but you have to be a student or someone with way to much time to troll every post! and MODERATE!

then what an election of computer trolls vote for me  I dont have anything better to do but be a moderator! who's gonna put thier name up for that??? oh ya the guy with 10-12 post a day and hits every thread your hired!

Personally I was only mad at one MOD for one of the three threads I started 2 of the 3 got locked one was a flame about how biased this site was and how can it be objective with a guy named wiifan running it that crap got locked quick!

PS I dont believe that anymore actually it may have been about the ratings all ninty in the top spots!

the next was a link to bruceongames.com and a blog of his and they said it was spam and locked it! because I guess he was a member who spammed here and thought I was him???

I dont know I'll stick to commenting and stay away from starting threads but you gotta feel confident when 2 outta 3 gets shut down!

still I dont have a problem with them who ever they are!

and I wouldnt know who to vote for any way.

besides whats the campaign "vote for me and I wont lock your thread"????

just leave it to ioi hes got some experience at this stuff!
