Are the same people, who praised Sony for bringing HDR to all PS4s, now praising Sony for not including a 4K BluRay player in their PS4 top model?

What's HDR? Is that what Cerny was talking about in the meeting?

I have 2, Mad Max and the Revenant. I also have over 100 BR's, streaming quality is not as good as BR's

There is a cheap Blu-Ray 4K player ... it's called an XBox One S. Which is something I'm basically being forced into buying now. There's no better player for the price.

So if Sony's goal was to sell more XBox One's ... great job.

why don't you buy an xbox-s then it is a good machine over here at £249 even cheaper foir you,

or will you wait for the scorpio next year or whenever it is coming out(does anyone know the date) or will you buy a dedicated 4k player i bet there are some superb ones

you have plenty of options why bitch about the pspro

Because he is an Xbox fan. But at the end Sony will continue to dominate because it's the better choice for the price and what majority want.

apparently it is something that will make your games even prettier on your 1080p tv's even some older games with a patch and it is coming to the old PS4's too via firmware

I'm a little bummed by it but not completely put off. It would have been a neat feature to have but I'm content with 4K Netflix streaming.

Nearly none of the UHD movies are true 4K.....considering outside Docs, nearly no one is shooting in native 4K. All the UHD are simply HD remastered to UHD. Which is why quite of few of them have issues at times. Until movies are actually shot in 4K......I won't be buying remastered versions of films. They can be very hit and miss.

I dont get all the dissapointment from alot of you guys, physical films are dying... I havent bought a regular blu-ray film in years, and I hardly see any 4K blu-ray movies for sale. Streaming movies is the future, Netflix 4K first, and other who still havent upgraded will follow soon, and Sony knows it.

I've bought 4K blurays and don't even have a player for them yet. If you care about audio and visual quality, you buy blurays. And 4K blurays with HDR and increased resolution are going to be the optimal experience for people who care about quality. Which I thought PS4 fans did, until their system didn't have something the other one does. I notice you didn't put '4K bluray and $299 pricetag' as an option. Why? U mad?

Any movie filmed for IMAX is in 4K.

Beacause they are fun boys And ingnorant people  that they belive PS4PRO is nothing special and xbone slim is better because have UHD blu ray player, making questions why xbone s has it and cost 299 why ps4 don't?  when in reallity PS4P can produce 4k upscale,  HDR, native 1080p with 60fps. is 2 times more powerfull than ps4 and 4 times than xbone slim  and  has the same price with xbone slim! And i m not even say, if developers can't use 100gb blu ray disc for games why UHD player is necessary? is not like one has DVD and the other BDR RIGHT? Nevermind i me leaving that part too match science!

Those people don't undersatnd shit for what Sony say on press conferance and ingore the digital foundry that prize the PS4 PRO http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2016-three-hours-with-playstation-4-pro

But im not accuse (some) of them beacause they are never  seen 4k me either so is logical to be confuse in some way, 4K tv's is not full here for everyone,  but at least we know even for 1080P developers if they want, and that's is the key that make ps4 pro to be worth, can use that extra power for more fFPS and standar 1080 resolution

For the others that moanig about UHD player i  say to them don't forget to download for torents the next 4k movie and renew your subscription on streaming sites
