The tournament takes place over a course of 6 months, (Pretty long time for a tournament) and the winning team receives an NX system.

If this news is coming out, then the official announcement can't be far off....Hopefully.

Could this also be a hinty hint hint at the system possibly having a SPLATOON game on it! I mean, why else have a Splatoon tournament to win an NX? If the game isn't related, I don't see any reason they would do it (my inner me is really hoping that it's related haha). I'd be so stoked for a sequel! I've been playing it like crazy lately!
