I disagree that Pro is such a huge impact... I was worried for the success of the NX before the Pro announcement, and it's announcement has had no affect on that worry one way or another.

OMG, I can't wait to know more about NX!!

I'm not a Playstation fan by any means (Never even had a PS console), but I just don't see anything special about the PS4 Pro honestly. I'd rather buy whatever the NX ends up being, at least it will be something new.

Nintendo's cold as ice. They won't redraw shit. Not even the sharp black edges of Sony's products will scare those cats. If anything, those motherfuckers will continue to add more crazy shit to the "NX".

What even? This is no different than a PS4 with 4k... and more processing power. Nintendo hasn't even shown anything yet. NX is going to be totally new. I find that more exciting.

Me too, but to the average consumer, if they make it look like a new console, they will say "No Fifas and Callofduties? This sucks!"

They have to say it is a handheld that also can be hooked to a TV, so people understand it is the next step in the handheld like, the new and improved Gameboy with a nice bonus.

Yea I always laugh about that every new console reveal. 

They always tought their "netflix" partnership, like its somethign special. Every device I own sans my kindle supports Netflix. 

And then especially talking about 4k hdr tv's. If you can find me a 4k hdr tv that is not a smart tv, I will be insanely impressed and surprised. 

So anyone who can take advantage of this 4k hdr netflix streaming, would have already had a method to do so. 

I don't think this announcement changes anything. Didn't everybody see the PS4Pro coming a mile away? The price is solid, but its not a gamechanger.
