By the way, Sony didn't mention 4K Bluray at all...

Ugh, wanted to see if FFXV got a graphics update

399 is pretty good. Did they say anything about PSVR getting benefits from ps4 pro? Did they mention psvr at all?

They really made it sound like this is just an elite model uhd ps4. Maybe we'll have a traditional PS5 before they dissolve the generations.

And yet they give developers freedom to upgrade that graphical effects rather than just the resolution. So it certainly sounds like a blurring of generations.

$399 is amazing..

I dont want to get banned, so im just going to say that was BAD.

What were you expecting?A second E3?While it wasnt outright said, it was somewhat clear that this was about the Pro and what it can do rather than announcing new games.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

That was rather underwhelming. The fact that they didn't mention the specs at all is a clear sign that they didn't adjust anything about the PS4 Pro after MS announced its 6TF project Scorpio. They didn't mention the specs, so it's pretty obvious they don't match. Otherwise they would have boasted about them.

In any case, I will most likely get it, but I hope the games I'm getting in the coming months will support the Pro features on regular 1080p TVs, by improving picture quality, framerate and whatnot. Otherwise, it's not going to be worth it for me until I upgrade to a 4K TV, which I'm not really in a haste to do.

This was clearly a low key production. Nothing spectacular but got the job done.

Yeah, as I said elsewhere, they put the word 'Meeting' in the title and people are complaining it wasn't like E3

The Pro doesn't need to exist. They should have just scrapped it and next E3 sweep the feet under MS and announced the PS5 for 2018
