Another more traditional 3D game could be Bloodborne if it gets NEO enhancement. It might not last 20 years but let's say 10 years at least and this is because the general atmosphere of the game hides the graphical flaws, you just don't notice them or care.

Racing games also hold up very well. Like in this very thread, Ridge Racer Type 4 is acknowledged for its pretty graphics and for ultimate example there is always F-Zero GX which is still beautiful game and offers unmatched feel of speed.

Then there are games like Super Mario 3D World which will look good always.

Yeah, I meant it in a self deprecating way as a tip of the cap.

If any type of game is going to age well I'd agree stylized or cartoonish graphics have the best chance to do so (which most 2D games are).  It is the bleeding edge realism that ages poorly on a visual fidelity level.

Yeah, racers being among the best lookers of a system/generation is a trend that has continued to this day; Driveclub this gen, Forza Horizon last gen, F-Zero GX in the 6th gen, etc.

Speaking of which that reminds me of another graphically impressive PS1 racer that I didn't list: Wipeout 3.

The FF games. Especially 8 and 9. It was an era in wich 2D background with 3D model was the best looking due to the limited ammount of polly's that could be generated.

For a fully 3D game, i would probably say something like Legacy of Kain: Soul reaver.

probably Gran Turismo, although the Playstation 1 has aged pretty terribly overall and was not particularly revolutionary at the time (except being one of the first bigger successes in the market to jump on the CD bandwagon)

I wouldn't count FF Ix since it heavily used pre rendered backgrounds. I think Vagrant Story and Spider-Man are better examples since everyrhing is rendered in real time.
