I find it odd how of all times he now wants to dabble with AR due to the way Go blew up for Nintendo. It looks like the whole Wii/Wii sticks strategy all over again, becoming more of a "me too" kind of idea.
Nintendo has dabbled with AR before though with the 3DS along with Go, and then we have other mobile devs that have dablled with it as well so it all just seems random how only now of all times does SOny want to tackle and take it on.
Also they've been dabbling in that market for years, is it only going to get agressive now because one player got lightning in a bottle once?.
That said I like AR more than VR so I'd like to see it grow more in the future.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
