Because they are afraid that they can make a huge blow to nintendo, we all know it sony is the only threat to nintendo.

Gamepro is a lot worse than VGchartz regarding fanboys/ trolls. On Gamepro users can create any thread they want and never have to fear a ban.

I'd love to say that Sony killed my cat and now I hate them but that is not the case.
There are things I dislike with the PS3, but I dont hate it. things like ...
1. Bluray bundle when I just want gaming
2. Hyping their games 3 years in advance to steal market share from competitors who actually have good games
3. Killing he Dreamcast and Sega...that one is personal

Sony didn't kill the Dreamcast.

Sega had shot themselves in the foot previously with the Saturn and lost a lot of support from both Gamers and third party developers (such as EA refused to support the Dreamcast).

This fact, along with the impending release of the PS2, meant many people refused to look twice at the Dreamcast.

The final nail in the coffin was Sega's lack of financial resources to compete against both Sony and Nintendo in the marketplace.



  

 I definitely agree withyour last sentence there.  It's infuriating to see someone throw out a little one liner in a thread, that you can see is trolling, but it's not obvious enough to get the guy in trouble.  Drives me crazy because it's not helping anything, the site isn't better because of stealth trolling, they're doing it solely to piss other people off.

To be honest there are PS3 haters because their parents did not buy them a PS3 for Xmas. Instead they were bought a Wii because it was cheaper for the parents to buy them a Wii instead of a PS3.

I don't think there are a lot of PS3 haters here, at least no more than those that hate on the other consoles. The difference is in the types of threads created.

We seem to get a lot of delusional PS3 fans here that claim absurdities about a sudden collapse in Wii sales and a massive resurgence in PS3 sales to bring Playstation back to the forefront of gaming.

Since this goes against all known logic and historical evidence as well as all trends so far this gen, they get ridiculed and mocked with pizza and cats.

These types of threads are not created by 360 fans. If these PS3 fans would actually think about what they are saying prior to posting you would not have seen such negativity.

I think its very simple, people favors Winner (Wii), and hates Loser (PS3).
