The gameplay seems to be really solid from the videos we have seen so far. It appears to play like a mix between Gears and CoD4. The first person cover system seems to work pretty good. The game also has a jump button, i don't think the first one had it. There is also a sprint button like what CoD4 has.
Let's wait until E3 before passing judgement of Killzone 2
Haze looks good, but if you don't like the idea of nectar, then you will not like the game

On Topic: I think the single player will be great, but I bet they're focusing more on the online aspect. I have heard each level is something like 2-3 gigabytes though, so it could be a long campaign mode. Hopefully not so long it drags on.

Nowhere near to the PSOne and PS2... but is going to catch them don't worry...

Yea, Resistance is a 100% for me. KZ2... god, I have more interest at the moment in MGS4 and I don't like MGS games! :) But that could change, if the story is good. Even haze has some detailed gameplay information. Sigh... If I can't find any good FPS's on consoles - I will have to just upgrade my PC, 7900gtx is quite slow. I have been dying to play Crysis for months! I haven't let myself until I upgrade my graphics card. I've got the game here!

didnt you guys see that 9 minute gameplay video of killzone 2 on u tube? or was that the video that got criticized for being to good graphic wise.
haze will be below RFMO-2 and killzone 2. i dont think the nectar bein g your main weapon in most cases is a good idea.
One neat trick is you can control the weather with machines.
Though to what extent that helps isn't explained yet.
With any luck when it rains, movement becomes slower... clouds hurt CPU accuracy, strong wind hurts accuracy... etc.
Though it may just be "Make it rain so the enemies go indoors.

There are other reasons you know for not playing online besides not having the hookups. I don't play online very often just because I have no patience for 12 year olds telling me about what they want to do to my mother.
