So the BF1 beta has rolled out, and now I want to see some impressions! Now I've had a couple days of play, and I'll say this: FIX YOUR SERVERS EA!!!!!!!!!! Yes, the gameplay is good, and I enjoy riding the train and absolutely destroying the other team, but then the servers go down, and it was all for nothing! I know this is a beta, but I am a bit worried considering the game is coming out in a month.

What are your impressions guys? Have you had as many server problems as I have?

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Love it, outside of the server issues I have no complaints with the game itself.

I personally haven't had any issues with the servers, minus the DDOS attack.

Updating here to say my experience has been getting better. Should wait and see how things progress over the next couple days.

I love it, although I have some criticism (minor).

The servers have been perfect for me so far, and they load much faster than past Battelfield games. Very impressed.

I can't believe how good the graphics are. Best looking game at the moment.

World War 1 is a fantastic setting. I especially love the horses. So cool when you can see the horse from far away, or to get ride over by a horse.

Snipers are very overpowered, at least on this beta map where it's so open. It's the only class I can play here and actually kill a decent amount of people with, while usually it's the other way around! It's almost is if there is auto-aim (playing PC version) or the hitboxes are very big. It's so easy to hit people with the sniper rifle. Which feels very good, to actually be able to hit people easily with a sniper rifle for once! This was the case with Star Wars Battelfront too (even though they weren't real sniper rifles). I wonder if they carried over mechanics from the long range shooting in Battelfront into Battelfield somehow?

But if you play another class and play the objective, it's frustrating to get sniped all the time and not get much help pushing forward when nearly half your team are snipers.

Perhaps tanks are overpowered too, I don't know yet, could just be that people aren't used to take them out yet.

Very statisfying game so far. Probably the best Battelfield game ever. I may have to buy this day one, which is rare for me with shooters.

I hope I can find sum VGC guys to play together with on the PC version, would be so cool to play in a good squad.

My personal favorite so far is how many servers don't give any equipment to some players. I like running around the map without any means to defend myself, while encountering players with firearms and tanks. It feels like an authentic Soviet experience, which is exactly what I was looking for in this pre-Soviet game.

Jokes aside, I've been having fun with it for the most part. I'm actually sort of amazed how smoothly it runs, considering I have 'only' a GTX 770. My main problems are with snipers, who are overpowered on Rush, and possibly tanks, which seem really hard to counter even as an assault. Oh, and the occassional lack of equipment is sort of annoying too, although it was quite amusing at first.

Nothing new, its Battlefield same as its been since Bad Company 1
It's alright but, really can't see myself buying this

lol good one about the Soviet experience and authenticity! But what kind of equipment is lacking? Surely all the servers must be identical since it's EA who provides them. Explain! I only know that ammo is hard to come by.

Yes, the game runs extremely smoothly! With an R9 290 the game autoset me on ultra settings and I haven't bothered checking the framerate because it runs so smooth. What a solid engine they have.

But the GTX 770 is still a very good card. It's only 20% slower than mine.

It's okay. Not really feeling the weapons so far, but I'll get used to them.

All of it. Sometimes I spawn without any equipment, which means I don't have a single weapon either, which in turns means I can't even melee. Essentially, I can't attack on foot, or do anything else with any equipment I normally spawn with. All the equipment slots (1 to 4) are empty, and the character has a stance where he looks like he's holding a weapon even though he's not. A lot of other players have had the same problem too. The problem seems to plague only some servers though, and I don't know why. I also don't know whether the affected servers change or if it's always the same servers. There's usually not just a few individual players that are affected, but a good bunch (but not all, I think).

And just for the record, the problem is pretty personal. Dying doesn't solve it, and I don't think changing class solves it either. Some players have the problem but others don't. All equipment on the level is there, so there's tanks driving around etc. and even without equipment, you can use vehicles etc. That's actually how I started one round quite nicely, by getting in the driver spot of a car and driving around with others handling the guns. I managed to stay on the top of my team's scoreboard until I left the server, and that's without a single kill (other were doing the shooting, I was just the driver).
