It would be rather dissapointing if it didn´t have amiibo support at all.
I´m sure Nintendo will keep producing new series of amiibos after the NX launch.

How is a grown man supposed to show off his Nintendo characters that are proudly displayed all over the TV stand? I like your idea but some of us need our figures.

Its just a way that I could get Amiibo support and I don't have to have a shelf full of them staring at me. Plus Nintendo could sell the Emiibos for $5 each. It would be the best of both worlds.
Given all the investment and impressive gains they have done with the amiibo brand and the fact that they mentioned at E3 about the Wolf Link amiibo, that was more of a lock then Miiverse being on NX.
The most interesting thing may come in a implication that the mobile Animal Crossing might actually support some Amiibo or otherwise capability.
Tachi said she heard it would before
actually she said it made her disinterested in the system since she said it had a larger focus on Amiibos than the Wii U/3DS
