No, don't get me wrong. I know he's a PS guy. I think everybody knows that

But I still find it unnecessary to jump between conclusions that often based on something as fluctuating as hourly rankings.

 

I know when confronted he'll just say he's joking but I don't care whether it's about making fun of people cheering for the XB1S or whether it's about being the first to predict poor PS sales (so he can act non surprised if they fail to meet expectations).

Both instances are unnecessary imo

I've even had people accusing ME of judging sales on the hourlies. What they failed to understand is that, yes, I did judge sales by the hourlies but that was after watching the trends for over two weeks. Some people just don't get it.

Exactly. And that makes sense.

However it doesn't make sense to claim that a console is failing and then 7 hours later claim that it's dominating (not even as a "joke").

It whas a parody/ joke against  these xbox fans who where saying  ps4 whas falling  and "the king returned"  hahaahah.

So there has been a lot of talk about the Xbox One S vs PS4 Pro but can I just say that the PS4 Slim is selling better than the XBOS. Also, the Original PS4 is selling better than the Slim. So, until such time that the Xbox can take even one PS4 model we can't really talk about it challenging the Pro.
