So my prediction was TRUE, sony is going to hardly push the Pro this Holiday season, since they will have plenty of stock. http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2016/09/sony_pleasantly_surprised_by_strong_ps4_pro_pre-orders

And also Pre order are "surprisely" good!

I still think PS4 Pro will absorb PS4 slim sales, and that might give Microsoft a win for October and maybe september. Sony needs to make more deals to ensure a win imo.

I Don't think that Microsoft will  win this month, maybe October, due to Gears. They won the last month by 120k selling over 270-280k even with Pre-orders. Take away the pre-orders and it might have sold nearly the same that the normal PS4 sold that month.

Honestly, i'm schocked Battlefiled 1 and Infinite Warfare are still out of the TOP 100 Amazon, while Pokémon moon and sun are both in TOP 30 + the double pack at #45..... like wow.

Wait why did you skip the part where they were on top leading to the PS2 announcement????

The price was PS3's major problem. Was the PS3 avaliable for 600US$ by 3 full years ?

Yeah I know but his statement was "we all know what happens when Sony is on top" see PS3. But Sony was on top going from PS1 to PS2 so I guess I was missing his point lol.

Oh well no biggie.....anyways where is Gribble! Where is our update....slacker smh

The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Seems the PS4 Black Ops bundle is now "Exclusive for prime members" ... lol

That would mean they don't have many left?

Yes. they save the last stock for the "best" clients.

It will be available again if they get more stock, of course.

No no no no no no!

I don't accept this. Keep selling Black Ops III bundle!

HARDWARE

#11 PS4Pro (down 1)*
#29 XB1s-500gb Halo Bundle (up 5)
#31 N3DSXL Solgaleo Lunala Black (down 4)*
#35 PS4 Black Ops III Bundle (same)
#43 PS4s UC4 Bundle (same)
#58 N3DSXL Galaxy (same)
#80 XB1s-1tb Madden Bundle (up 2)
#90 PS4 UC4 Bundle (down 6)
#92 XB1s-2tb (up 5)
#99 Scorpio Spec Sheet (down 1)*

Does not affect this month (*)

SOFTWARE (pre-orders only)
#12 3DS Pokemon Moon (down 1)
#14 3DS Pokemon Sun (down 2)
#15 3DS Pokemon Sun&Moon (down 1)
#19 3DS Dragon Quest VII (down 3)
#36 XB1 FH3 Ultimate Edition (same)
#47 3DS Shin Megami IV (down 1)
#61 XB1 FH3 (down 2)

That is one hell of a change around. It could be because the PS4s went out of stock for quite some time or it could be that within the last few hours suddenly people decided to prefer the XB1s ... We'll have to wait and see.

But on a more serious note, it could be that more people are becoming aware of the PS4pro and so are waiting or pre-ordering. Either way, people really really really need to stop judging sales on the hourlies. Yes they're a good indicator for the month BUT ONLY if you follow them for a few weeks and not just pop in occasionally when it suits.

Stop it. It's embarrassing.

Everything Gribble said, plus the hourlies have some sort of weird algorithm that causes one day's effects to linger for a few days, so they're not really hourlies, they're more like weird dailies.

On another note, it looks like MS is doing the free game promotion the last week of the month ( i.e. buy Xbox, get a free game) which seems like a really weird choice for it. I wonder if they set the promotion up before FFXV was delayed, and thought Sony was going to release a bundle for it? Or maybe to help sell Forza?

Well for whatever reason the BO 3 bundle is now exclusive to Prime Members. Also like I said before, I don't think the slim is going to take off until the inevitable announcement of Infinite Warfare bundle in the US.

I've never thought the PS4s would 'take off' and I very much doubt Sony did either. The PS4s was always just going to keep the truck rolling. It's the PS4pro that will either help keep the truck rolling or 'take off' and from Sony's recent statement about pre-orders, that's likely to happen. The BO 3 bundle going to prime shows how confident Amazon are with its sales but it's also a little 'naughty' in my opinion.

COD is a console seller though, especially for the casual market. If they are smart they'll also do a COD bundle for PS4 Pro.

As far as Amazon being confident, I still think it's kind of dumb to put it behind a sub paywall. Money is money just let the damn thing sell out.
