The monthly charts now show the PS4 in the lead, and that's without the Slim. According to the hourly rankings over the past three days, the XBO will not regain the top spot for currently-available SKUs.

I don't think that Recore will move a lot of consoles. Forza will launch in the last 3 days of the month, but the Xbox One won't win if they get outsold the other weeks

It's still a bit early but it looks like the PS4 will win this month and certainly November. October depends on deals and PSVR. December is still up in the air but I'm leaning towards the PS4 (PS4pro actually launched). My advise would be to wait until October to buy a PS4s or a XBs because the deals are likely to be very good. More so for the XB1s because they're currently falling behind.
