Also, I see Shadow's monthly rankings update puts XB oneS in the leading position for consoles that will count towards Sept NPD. So, in fact the current standings align with my supposition that Xb oneS may win Sept and Oct. We'll see what happens when the 4S enters the monthly chart I guess.

The monthly charts now show the PS4 in the lead, and that's without the Slim. According to the hourly rankings over the past three days, the XBO will not regain the top spot for currently-available SKUs.

I don't think that Recore will move a lot of consoles. Forza will launch in the last 3 days of the month, but the Xbox One won't win if they get outsold  the other weeks
