I think Sony has September, October might go to Microsoft. I expect Sony will announce the COD Infinite Warfare bundle in October. That with the combination of Pro pre-order, also Gears 4, will likely cause lower sales in October.

IGN made a video against the PS4. They said that "if you want to purchase everything Sony announced, it will cost 1.850US$ without tax" but they also put headphones and a 4K TV into the account.
I'm 100% against those "upgradable" or "upgraded" version of the consoles, I still think that it will take the focus away from the original PS4. But the pre-orders are very strong for the PRO.

It will for quite some time until things level out a little. When promotions for the Slim bundles start then we'll see a more even playing field. As it is, Sony will be more than happy that both consoles are competing with one and other. It cuts other consoles out of the equation and keeps the conversation about the PS brand. Just be patient and wait a few months.

I want to see how well Ubisoft and Activision will develop their games for both Pro and PS4. Call of Duty and Watch Dogs 2 are coming in a few months.

That's the American gaming media for you. I'm sure the Scorpio will be heralded as innovative and signal the 2nd coming of Christ when it hits shelves. Just like how they kept saying power didn't matter about the PS4, but it will when Scorpio is more powerful.
