I'm 100% against those "upgradable" or "upgraded" version of the consoles, I still think that it will take the focus away from the original PS4. But the pre-orders are very strong for the PRO.

It will for quite some time until things level out a little. When promotions for the Slim bundles start then we'll see a more even playing field. As it is, Sony will be more than happy that both consoles are competing with one and other. It cuts other consoles out of the equation and keeps the conversation about the PS brand. Just be patient and wait a few months.

I want to see how well Ubisoft and Activision will develop their games for both Pro and PS4. Call of Duty and Watch Dogs 2 are coming in a few months.
