Smart bundle, but good Lord are there a lot of Xbox bundles. That blue system probably should have been available nationwide, people like their differently colored systems. Still, considering Gamestop's share of the market, I'm sure the blue bundle will do well enough on its own.

Considering some of the bargain bundles, the launch of Forza Horizon 3 and the imminent release of Gears Of War 4, I'd say it's not looking good for the XB1 brand. Even I did not think the PS4pro, PS4s and OG PS4 would be able to sustain a lead over all those bundles plus the above. Just let that all sink in. Look at what has been thrown at the PS4 and look at the result. I'm now inclined to think Oct will go to PS4 too.
edit: And just to point out, I'm not basing that off the fact there are now 4 PS4 SKUs above the XB1s. I'm basing it on the overall trends this WHOLE month.

To be fair, the Halo bundle has been sold out since that fluky Recore Collector's Deal on Monday, otherwise it would probably be up in the twenties or upper thirties right now, as it was on Sunday when the deal was in its proper form, as in a free game of $59.99 or less.

The ONLY reason that deal made any difference was because the Recore special edition could be one of the games. That's why the Recore special Edition also appeared in the top 20. So we were looking at an XB1s for $300 with 4 Halo games and a Recore game worth around $140 (can't remember the exact price). That was an anomaly and not a trend, which I knew could not be sustained. MS just threw everything at the PS4 this month and it has only 'perhaps' reduced the ammount the PS4 wins. This is before the Pro launches and the Slim exclusive bundles launch. It just isn't looking good for the XB1s.
Having said that, my opinion isn't set in stone and the one thing I won't do is use subjective thinking in order to combat any possible objective changes.

Actually, I don't recall Microsoft having more than 5-6 active bundles other than last year holiday. It is the frequency of new bundles that is higher than Sony and Nintendo.
For example for most of September the only active bundles, as in not discontinued, are Halo, Madden and the 2 TB bundle which might be discontinued already since Microsoft since it is a limited bundle for the launch of the slim. By the time of Gears launch they will have Halo, Minecraft and Gears bundles only.
Since we're talking about it, can someone actually list the 16 bundles for Xbox right now?
And I don't see why almost everyone here talk about it like it is a negative thing. It gives us option as a consumers to get the game we actually want with th console. That is a good thing about competition.

While it did inflate the effect on Amazon, it clearly wasn't the only reason.

It was the ONLY reason it got so high. The XB1s was obviously going toget a boost from the deals, Horizon and Gears but not the boost it did.

That could be arguably right. The initial statement was false.

I think that my prediction of 20+ bundles of Xbox One for 2017 will become true.
