I would certainly welcome a game like TLOU on NX. The disdain for cinematic games is a little ridiculous though.

Well naturally Nintendo gamers are more gameplay focused. :L

Nah bro, last of us is too much cinematic, cinematic games are ruining this industry !!!

I used to think the same, but then I played the game and the gameplay was great, a playable thriller. Similar to Alan Wake.

I just don't think that would work well.

They would need several of them to support each other. People aren't buying a console for a "one of". Once they are done with one, they want to move onto another and another.

I personally think Scalebound on the xbox one won't do well. They have no real JRPG before scalebound, and I can't expect many afterwards.

Where as the xbox 360 had blue dragon, lost odyssey, Tales of vesperia, Eternal sonata etc etc.

Also this is the best post.

You're not going to see anything like TLOU on the NX, especially not if it does turn out to be primarily a handheld. "Cinematic" storytelling isn't anything Nintendo has bothered with in the past, and I don't see that changing any time soon.

Besides, Western gamers like a whole lot of genres. I'm sure they can find something that appeals to us without going down the whole gritty, realistic road.

The last of us is my my third favourite game of all time :)

I was just joking.

ooohhh ok lol, my sarcasm radar has been off lately :P

Playing it on the go/handheld version would be quite nice.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Not my cup of tea. I'd prefer to see them going with a more misterious route like what BtoW seems to be or what Metroid Prime was.
