There has never been a that kind of phone. If what you are talking about is slide out qwerty then sure, a slighe our phycial qwerty keyboard does not seem to have a viable market any more, evne though I would buy one tomorrow if one came out in my price bracket. I hate using onscreen keyboards, and they take up screen real estate.
But this is two screens. And IMO there's plenty of scope to convince people that 2 screens>1. And if both screens can be edge display, then it's even possible to get a single image almost seamlessly across both screens, so when you want to watch a TV show or movie on your phone you end up with a tablet sized screen and a much better experience.
I think it's only cost that is likely to be a deal breaker. If they can make a phone at a reasonable high/high-mid range price it could work for them.
