Please report back. They won't accept my Paypal data but I am also not sure if that is a good or bad thing...

So I did test it out for a bit while playing God of War 3. I went as far as killing prometheus and here is what I thought about it:

First my internet speed:

So in my experience (yours may vary), the framerate ran fine but there were some noticable stuttering every now and again. Also the game seems to have the same slowdowns as they had on the ps3 if I remember correctly which is odd since I would think it being streamed, it won't have any slowdowns. And the input lag in noticable from my end. Trying to dodge or deflect enemy attacks isn't very responsive from my experience. So all in all, for exclusives its fine but if the game is avaliable on PC, 110% better to play it there. Also if you are playing jrpgs, the input lag shouldn't be an issue.

One lolz worthy thing tho is when the qte came up where I had to mash the left and right shoulder buttons on my x1 controller, I had to redo that 3 times. Its cause the x1 controller's shoulder buttons are arse to spam.

Why would you promote Netflix using content where at least 90% of it is available on DVD/blu-ray?

Totally different scenario. Netflix is about convenience, immediate access vs. having to go out and buy or rent, or wait for an online order to arrive. Right? I can't stand having to go out to rent games on PSNow... Oh wait. I don't. With Steam, GoG and G2A there is more or less the same immediate access, and often for a very low price. So what is the advantage of PSNow over other PC content prodivers in terms of multiplatform content? Not needing to have it installed; running games beyond your video card or lack thereof; having access to it on your laptop regardless of; being capable of running those same games and saves on a number of TVs and PlayStation devices... Should I go on? There is literally no advantage. Well, maybe one: bad PC ports that run better on console hardware. And then there's PlayStation exclusives like Last of Us, and inFAMOUS, and Uncharted... But those are mostly a gen 8 problem, which is content that is unavailable through PSNow for the mopment.

And until recently Netflix only had 3rd party content to with which to promote itself. Now that Netflix produces its own content, some of which is among the best quality TV available, they promote their original, exclusive content a lot more. And again, there are exclusives on this list that you will never have on PC.

Your internet speed is weird lol (or mine is, I dunno). It completely destroys mine downloadwise (I get 31 Mbps download speed, though it's on a wireless connection using 2.4 GHz instead of 5 GHz), but I get like 4 times your upload speed (61 Mbps upload).

Yea thats Canada's internet in general loll. Its mainly to minimize piracy if I remember correctly since ISPs don't want people seeding content.

Yeah, the input lag is to be expected and there is nothing you can do about it as this is inherent in the tech.

But thanks for your experience. I've read a lot on the internet it would be "perfect" which it just can't be. It's impossible.

Games which rely on decent input timings are forever a problem with this tech.

But also good to hear that you could use the XB1 pad although it seems you have one of the old controllers. The newer ones are said to have way better shoulder buttons.
