Yeah, Zelda is the least likely thing out of the bunch, because it's a sure thing that it will be shown during the NX reveal which should happen in mid-to-late September.

I wonder if they will show something completely new about the game, or just almost the same content for the sake of make it easier the comparisions between both versions...

Just between you and me, you should probably stop looking at the 3DS with only your Mario,Zelda,Pokémon in mind. You probably gonna miss the real sh*t right there ;)

As much as I love Phoenix Wright (I was actually replaying Justice for All right before posting this), it's a fairly niche title in the US whose sales apparently don't warrant a retail release in the US. I liked Shin Megami Tensei IV (although I'm not sure I'll get the new one) but that's even more of a niche franchise. As far as I know, Ever Oasis is not releasing until 2017.

Even if we ignore the fact that those are niche franchises, 3 major games for the rest of the year meets the criteria for "pretty weak" as far as I'm concerned.

About the last part, I read somewhere that Nintendo didn't remove anything. It seems like towns and NPC's are outside of the Great Plateau.
