It was ok. Still looking forward to Rhythm Paradise Megamix and the new Pikmin game looks fun.
I like the Zelda stuff they showed, especially the amiibo, art book, and the HWL DLC. Mario Sports Superstar appears to be what Ultra Smash should've been if given more effort and not rushed out. The Pikmin side scroller looks interesting blending side scrolling elements to the survival elements that Pikmin and Olimar have to use. Ever Oasis sounds interesting. Sun and Moon can't come soon enough. And I'm interested in the Ace Attorney and Dragon Quest games. Overall not bad, got release dates and some new games in the wood works.
It was a good direct, but for sure, with the ports from Wii U to 3DS shows that the Wii U is basically finished

Why? Because a Mario Maker port with no online functionalities and a heavily downgraded port of Yoshi is on 3ds? Sure.
Who cares about games like Xenoblade X, Mario Kart 8, Tropical Freeze, 3DWorld, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, Tokio Mirage Sessions, Pokken, Captain Toad or Splatoon now that Yoshi Wooolly World has a way uglier little brother on 3DS 2 years later?
My guess is that Nintendo is also pulling games to the 3DS so that both handheld and console owners know the smaller franchises. Outside income off course.
But if you're going to go with a consolidated console/handheld market in the future, this is a natural move.

How are we getting screwed over? I don't see anything wrong with more people being able to play these awesome games.
That's basically admitting that those games didn't sell what they wanted on WiiU. Also, pretty funny that the 3DS Mario Sports game looks a billion times better than the ones WiiU got.
Anyway, I don't really see myself getting anything they showed today, maybe Yoshi if I feel like it. Never got the WiiU game.
Also for a moment there I was scared they would announce another unnecessary Zelda spin-off or something, when they talked about Zelda, but thankfully it was just some amiibo, SS on WiiU Virtual Console and Hyrule Warriors DLC lol.

agree!! Pikmin looks interesting to me, even if they are making way too many 2D games
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse looks great, Mario Sports, too, even Sonic o_O
cool that they still have games coming up for the 3DS, while resouces are shifted to the NX
don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^
