Missed the part that I've experienced the exact same scenario in two other games off the top of my head or just decided to ignore it?

Has no mans sky confirmed this "no MP" or is all of this based off those two guys only?

edit: the reason I ask is that would actually be irritating to me.  Since I have not found anybody anyways it's been a non issue for me personally so far.  That's why I'm curious if there is an official response or not.

Yeah, well it happened.  Destiny and TESO.  After awhile it sorted but it's happened more than once.

Hence my curiosity on the MP in NMS.  The only difference is there are lots of people on those games so it was obvious MP works where as in NMS there is not.  So two people not syncing or whatever, like what happened with my son and i, would look like no MP because there is no one else around to know otherwise.

Since I have had the same thing happen on other games with MP it's hard to judge it based off two guys.  Especially when I click on the menu in game and it says offline alot and then connects and then disconnects.  It acts like it has connection problems in my menu from what I'm looking at.

My first comment is messing around, hence, the dreams being destroyed while dreaming of making games as a kid.  My next comment you'd need thick skin in this day and age.  In the past you'd as a dev likely deal only with magazines and such (when I was a kid) and now you have websites and social media and all sorts of things coming at you requiring "thick skin".  

It could be "hate" as you made up quoted (deserved or not either way before you take off down that road) or reviews like metacritic or twitter, facebook and all the things this day and age has that my childhood did not have.  

Your problem is you assume what I say and then actually write it even quoting it as if I said it.  There is all kinds of crap I wouldn't want to deal with as a dev today, your assumption being just one.  The problem is you shifted it to (the reason) so you could start your replies and once you did that you started again with the insults.  

Well, do the game have trophies? If yes, that can be the best way to play it I think, just keep getting the trophies.
That said, they should have added some quests or something...
