Forums - Nintendo - Eurogamer´s Tom Phillips: NX reveal in September, Direct for fans and actual event for press

I think Nintendo have learned from their past console launches, seemingly launching the NX with full force to market, including a great launch lineup, from launch day to +6 months.
They are going back to their roots with the NES classic, which tells me, that their top management are focused on reviving their console business. That should be great news for whatever the NX is.

NX is coming in March 2017, so revile want change that date in any way, so if you really had some interest in NX you would wait revile because you cant buy NX before March 2017 in any case.

I'll most likely end up owning whatever NX is, as long as its not a handheld. I just most likely won't be there at launch. Unless the launch library is awesome.

Well buying console on launch and totally giving up from console are totally different things.

After I buy PS4 Slim, maybe I also would not buy NX on launch..

Nintendo seriously needs to reveal the NX asap. Imagine how many threads that could've saved us across the globe? lol

And imagine the threads after the NX reveal! XD I wonder how many threads will get bumped!

We're going to get tons of threads after the NX reveal regardless, its inevitable.

But the difference is least those 'after' threads will be based off something real rather than the millions of rumours and speculations, and you can only make so many threads off something that is already set in stone.  Look at the how many threads of Scorpio compared to the NX, there's barely any because we all already have a good idea of what it already is because MS said so.

That's how alot of threads are even if its not video game related.  Just saying.

It's just his personal guess, not something he knows. And this should probably be added to the OP because a lot of people seem a bit confused about this because they didn't check the source.
