Forums - Gaming - Which do you prefer the most: 1st Person or 3rd Person games?

Both are fine, but I'm no fan of second-person perspective gameplay. ;)

Without a VR headset, I'll always pick 3rd person (unless 3rd person specifically sucks for one game, like in Elder Scrolls).

I prefer 3rd person. I like to see the action happening all around me.

Most first person games are shooters, and while that's ok, I prefer games with more things to do besides shooting, something that's easier to get with third person games.

So, third person for me.

Yeah, but think games like Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Would you prefer them in 3d person (with an actually good 3d person feature available)?

In the past I prefered 1st person, today 3d person.

Assuming not every game where you view the characters from the outside is considered a third-person game, I'd say I prefer first-person games. It's more immersive that way, and the controls typically feel tighter (more responsive).

Shooters 3rd person. Everything else 1st person

In general I prefer third person... for pretty much everything. The only games I prefer first person are Bethesda RPG's and multiplayer shooters. (For shooter campaigns I'd prefer third person in general.)

Easy, I prefer both. No dislikes.

It's all about the game man. If all things were equal, gun to my head, third person, but really, no difference for me.
