To anyone with the game: please let us know if the post-patch NMS is still crash-happy (PS4) or if performance has improved on your PC.

Wonder why it's taking so long to right up patch notes, especially if it's just bug fixes.

I'm actually hoping they just mention the fixes. The whole point of the game is to explore and if there IS any new content in this patch I want to happen upon it organically.

edit: Some people are still having problems but dying on a planet seems to solve most of the problems.

I can't wait. I'm hoping they have added base building :)

Don't expect it, I think that the game can't do this technically.

If I well understood, when you leave a planet, everything you done on it is reset.

Base building and owning freighters is coming soon. Hopefully in next weeks update. They're also working on improved AA and a new atmosphere algorithm to create better skys.

I haven't had a single crash on ps4 with quite a bit of time invested. Others may have different experiences.

I'm digital on the game with my son playing on his ps4 upstairs and me on mine downstairs both without a crash yet.  If that helps.  Have no idea if disk vs digital matters but people can post their results for each.

l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble?  If not, I'll keep looking.

They said once you discover it stays there for others.  You can see planets on galatic map people have discovered and named.

So it stays when you leave.

That's correct. Anything you do locally that's of no significance is stored on your own HD but anything of significance is stored in the cloud. Base building will be considered significant and so it will be saved to the cloud for anyone to discover.

Oh OK !  Thanks ! Good to know !

I stayed on Sean's interview where he said that when we were leaving a planet, everything was thrown away and that if we came back the rock that had been destroyed earlier would be there again (or something like this) because of the procedural generation.

Just had it crash while getting out of my ship. For whatever reason this is the only time it crashes for me.
