Forums - Sony - Titanfall 2 PS4 Footage

Looks good. Though titans kicking just seems weird.

Graphically unimpressive, to be expected I suppose.

The first games multiplayer population imploded rather impressively after release, hopefully with a single player and more content it can hold onto it's user-base for a bit longer, the first game was fun, albeit for a short while.

On PC, sure. For a variety of reasons.

On Xbone there has always been thousands on at any time. Never had any trouble finding games whatsoever. TF2 will do fine on consoles.

From all the videos I've seen so far it seems to be slightly slower paced than first game. I'll try the beta, but i'm still not sold on it. I became bored of the first game relatively fast.

I was going to say the same thing.. There is 3500-6000 people every time I log in .. STILL today..  Which is good for a 2 year old first time Franchise.

XBLive: cpg716     PSN ID: cpg716  Steam: Luv4Tech77

Predictions on 12/01/15 - Generation 8 Totals:

PS4: 85-95m
X1: 55-65m
WiiU: 20-30m

looks good. but i just hate the AI. and the mods they are offering in the beta are uninteresting. one is focused on killing AI and the other is without titans.

Suddenly, playstation fans care about a franchise they claimed they didn't for about two years.

Gee - wonder why?

User was warned for this post ~ CGI

Maybe because PlayStation users usually like campaigns and the game is shipping with one now?

By the way, what gives you the impression that PlayStation fans are interested in this title... I haven't seen much hype about it so far.

Here is a compilation of the posts so far:

"Hopefully the SP is good though but not getting my hopes up too high"

"Graphically unimpressive, to be expected I suppose"

"This definitely ain't my cup of tea but hopefully the online stays active for a few years at least"

"I'll try the beta, but i'm still not sold on it. I became bored of the first game relatively fast"

"The mods they are offering in the beta are uninteresting"

I hope the game is good, but I wouldn't go as far as saying that I'm interested in buying it.

Damn, my friends are going to buy BF1 but I'd much prefer this one. Titanfall was one of the most fun online shooters and sequel is looking great too. Oh and like others have pointed out, X1 player base was and still is healthy.

Def the best looking shooter releasing in Q4. BF1 can wait till next year for me.

They're using a hugely outdated engine, but I did play last night on PS4 (nabbed an early access key) and it looks incredible. I played the original a ton on Xbox One (10th gen pilot) and I was underwhelmed with the initial reveal video for 2, but after playing it last night, the videos aren't doing it justice. It's dramatically more polished in every way, more colorful too. The original was a very drab and gritty looking.

The thing is though, after the release you had a massive amount of people playing, then those numbers tumbled extremely quickly and then levelled out to what they are today where it is fairly stable during American on-peak times.
In Australia the servers are pretty barren and during off-peak times the DLC is pretty useless.

That's good to hear. :)
Lossy video isn't always the best way to glean graphics details.
