Kameo isn't a bad X360 game either, it's not on the same level as N64 Rare titles, but it isn't bad.

My friend has that game and says its decent, maybe i'll borrow it from him and give it a try.  Thanks! :)

While not as good as Kameo, I would say the first Viva Pinata game is also a pretty enjoyable experience!

You should really do it! They are not as good as Banjo Tooie and Conker, for example, but they can still be fun games.

Nope, there was a exodus of talent that happened as the N64 was wrapping up hence why they haven't done anything besides one or two gems, Rare has been on the decline, not even Nintendo short of hand holding them with their best IP could stop that.

They would have still likely been better as they wouldn't have spent a good 5 years working on Kinect experiences

Hard to say, since they could end up where they are now even with Nintendo

I guess they would have been continuing the DK franchise though

The world would have been better off if Rare had stayed with Nintendo...

Rare was already in decline by the time Microsoft bought them. Sure, they just sped up the decline, but it was going to happen anyway.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

How is that possible when Free Radical was formed a year before Perfect Dark even came out?

Perfect Dark was developed over the course of 3 years so most of the content production was done by the team behind Golden Eye 007 so there was only a year left for shipping which was probably spent on finalizing the design, testing, optimization, and bug fixing ...

Probably, but not for the reason people think. Microsoft hasn't dismantled them they just haven't put effort into fixing them. If Nintendo had bought them wholesale and they had become a first party studio a la Monolith Soft, Nintendo probably woule have put effort into rebuilding them. So it's not that they would have stayed good if not for MS, it's that Nintendo would have rebuilt them while MS did not.

Of course.
