I think its too late. They should never have had the overarching story with the animus. They should just have had historical incarnations of the era's and simply be the records of a secret order.

I hear unity and syndicate are good. So I'll enjoy them hopefully. I don't mind where the series has gone at least as far as rogue.

By killing off Desmond, they pretty much removed the limit of using only his ancestors. This means they can just use whoever they want now.

Desmond was awful. Please never bring him back. I would really love it if they killed off Rebecca and Shaun, too.
