A GPS receiver? Now that is interesting.. Wonder if it will have LTE capabilities somewhere

I'm starting to wonder if NX will have a small/cheap (?) projector. 

Yes, a projector. This is at least now the second round of patents that mentions a projector from Nintendo.

I think the infrared might be for the two detachable's to communicate with each other. Still, these patents are curiouser and curiousier by the day. Dammit Nintendo, just SHOW THE THING!

I think infared camera and a cheap projector could both be in. They're gimmicky, but seem very Nintendo.

GPS I could see being in too. Gotta get those Pokemon Go players.

Well there was that rumor where the system synced with your mobile devices and probally does something along the line of streaming your apps from the phone on the NX. So potentially if true you can have your phone in a pocket/bag and use the NX as the phone.

This is the Swiss Army Knife of controllers! It even has a portable vibrator to unwind after a good gaming session.

Nikkei basically reported it'll be able to run Android apps full stop. Nikkei is almost always right even when Nintendo denies their reporting. 

Which makes sense, Nintendo can then take 30% of the profit from smartphone apps on NX. 

They don't have to run Android as an OS per say though, could still be a custom Nintendo OS, just with an Android fork underlay or something. 

My personal feeling is Android apps are indeed in and Android devs will easily be able to add physical controls to their Android games.

Maybe NX has something similar? 

^ Thats something I hope its not... Projectors inside a handheld will drive up the cost and I doubt most people would even use it...
