if the server is up for 4 hours and starts at the usual time, I will try to catch the last couple games.

Does it have to be a dedicated ranked server to get the trophy (there is a trophy involved? I had no clue) or can it be a player ranked server?

Anyways, it has not been decided yet. It depends on if I can get the settings I want.

I don't know if it has to be a ranked or dedicated server to get the bandwidth donor trophy, but I do know that you can earn regular gameplay tophies in any online game (with whatever settings you want).  I earned a couple in the apartment building wide games I hosted last night. 

we usually play over lan but apparently you cannot earn trophies in a lan game.

It needs to be a dedicated ranked to get the gold trophy. I should know since I got it.
